Windows 10: I confused automatically installed antivirus software with new Windows update, and detleted...

After installing uTorrent i had RAV Endpoint Protection,automaticly installed, i actually thaught that it was a strange windows antiwirus update first, and i did the foolishest thing ever-ran a scan with it, it has concluded I have malware, something with my webcam etc and i removed them and then i realised what i did and instantly deleted the program. I have read that that program is a virus scam. Has it installed some unwhanted files on my computer or deleted something escencial? I ran several scans on my antivirus program and built in microsoft antivirus, it showed nothing, should i be worr

windows automatic updates

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
