Windows 10: I could not install Garmin Express until I found this solution

I have a Dell personal laptop running Windows 10 PRO. I could not run or install the latest version until I switched users to my Administrator account. I installed Garmin Express without any problems and updated my nuvi 50 that I purchases with updates.Creating your administrator account is a different subject not addressed in this discusionIf this is your company computer you will have to ask the administrator to do it for you.

Garmin express not getting installed!!!

Hi All,

I tried installing garmin express to update my gps but was not able to do so since it kept on asking for admin rights or so. I also tried to install it as Admin by elevating it. I tried with Garmin and also tried instructions on http://www.121techsupport.co/garmim-map-update/
but no luck please suggest me how to fix it

Garmin Express

I cannot Install Garmin Express 4.4.0 on Windows 10 64 bit. I receive windows error 2902.

I tried installing an earlier version 3.2.29 which appeared to install but would not launch but now I cannot uninstal it even using Microsoft Program_Install_and_Uninstall.meta. It removed the Elevated Installer folder from Programs(x86)/Garmin but Garmin
Express does not appear in the Microsoft Program_Install_and_Uninstall.meta list.

Although is still showing in Programs and Features but will not unistall using the Uninstall option there either.

I have also to removed the Garmin entry from services.msc from the registry as it was creating Windows error 2 when I tried to "start it"

I have contacted Garmin "customer support" but after giving some basic Windows for Dummies installation advice they now refuse to support me and advise I contact Microsoft which is a tactic they appear to use with anyone who has a more than basic problem
with their software.
