    I deleted 4000 photos accidently while using the photo app's facial recognition feature...


    i was using the photo app that apparently came with the computer and can't figure out how to get my deleted photos back

    Is the facial recognition feature in Windows 10 Photos local or cloud?

    Apparently, the Photos app found on Windows 10 can group photos based on people in it i.e. it has facial recognition features. I'm wondering if this facial recognition is done on the device locally, or are the photos sent to microsoft servers? Is there any kind of documentation to clarify about this?

    the latest upgrade to the Photo App in Windows 10 has a cool feature that offers facial recognition via something called "my people" where I can see all photos for a particular person. however, my mother's computer, which is definitely upgraded to the
    latest version of windows 10, does NOT show this new feature in the Windows Photo App. Any suggestions for turning on this AI facial recognition feature on my mother's computer?
