I deleted a file that OneDrive said would not sync and now I am unable to log into my laptop.

I deleted a file that OneDrive said would not sync and gave me an option to delete it. I did. MISTAKE! Now I am unable to log into my laptop. Obviously the deleted file contained my biometrics and PIN. When I try to log onto my laptop I get a message saying that my credentials cannot be verified. It does not recognize my fingerprint nor my PIN. When I try to enter using my PIN, I get the message: "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available." When I try to reset my PIN, it takes me to log into my Microsoft account. I successfully log into Microsoft account using my password and a verifi

Onedrive syncing new or deleted files but not modified files

Thank you for your response. I don't know why but modified files started syncing shortly after I posted my question. No idea why!

I do have another issue I don't understand. I have uploaded a folder from my laptop to Onedrive and deleted the contents of the folder on my laptop. If I don't select this folder on Onedrive to be available on my laptop I get an error message that Onedrive
was unable to sync the folder. I don't want it to sync the folder, I haven't ticked the box for the folder to be synced, so don't understand why I'm getting the error message.

With the box ticked it doesn't sync with the folder as if it did the files would either be downloaded back onto the laptop or the files on Onedrive would be deleted (which I don't want).

    Thanks

    Steve

I deleted a file that OneDrive said would not sync and now I am unable to log into my laptop.

Only write one number to log file and delete old ones?

    Hey,

I'm trying to have some software read from a .text file a number (GPU Temp) but the software will only the first number in a list (Or the first anything)

Is there a way to have to log file delete the previous entries and write the new number in it's place without any headers?

    EDIT:

    Sorry I'll try again.

I have some webcam software that can read a number (or whatever) from a text file and then it displays the number as an overlay.

    See here: http://10.244.193.13:8081/

I was trying to use GPU-z to do this but as it logs as a list the webcam software can't update properly (also it reads the headings of the file and displays them instead)

Is there anyway to alter the logging to only output just the number (GPU Temp) and to delete the old numbers so the new value is the only value in the file.
