I deleted a local disk which is now unallocated space and I'm not able to use it or extend...

Guys, I actually deleted my F local disk, which was around 300gb and now I'm not able to extend it to other drives or create it's own local drive. When I try to extend it shows the error 'there is not enough space available on the disks to complete this operation. Now the 300gb is set as unallocated and I'm not able to do anything with it. I've a 1tb HDD, which 600gb is fine but the other 300gb is unallocated and I'm not able to use it. Please help. Just in case if you need, the system is stored in the SSD.

    :)

Unable to Use Unallocated Space to Extend Partition

Okay...thanks. Will look at it tomorrow. FYI, I figured out how to get that unformatted G partition back into D.

In Disk Management, I right clicked G and selected "Delete Volume." That rendered the partition as unallocated. I was then able to extend D with that space.

Thanks again for all of the help!

Not Getting Able to Merge Drive with Unallocated Space!

You should be able to right click on partition I:, in Disk Management, and select Extend volume... to add the unallocated space to partition I:. It should be as simple as that. You can't "merge" unallocated space with a partition, because unallocated space is not a partition. To "merge" 2 things those things need to be the same type of thing.

And no, it's not illegal to copy files to another drive.
