I deleted by mistake. The recycle bin "manage" and "restore" are grayed out.

I somehow emptied my recycle bin and I saw "2000+" photos being emptied before my eyes. A file got knocked into there that I didn't put in. I need to restore but when I click on the recycle bin, the "Recycle Bin Tools" under "Manage" are all greyed out. The only thing it will let me see are "Recycle Bin Properties." Will try to attach snapshot. Please help! I deleted by mistake. The recycle bin "manage" and "restore" are grayed out. 4a5ac1a6-4ac7-47ab-883b-7c1e0a4810e8?upload=true.jpg

    recycle bin

    Hi George,

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

    • Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
    • Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
    • Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

(This is not an official Microsoft source, however, I assure you that this method is legit)

    Hope this helps!
