Windows 10: I deleted Snipping tool on accident and it wasnt just the icon

Discus and support I deleted Snipping tool on accident and it wasnt just the icon in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I deleted the snipping tool on accidentally and dont know how to get it back.     I deleted Snipping tool on accident and it wasnt just the icon


    I deleted the snipping tool on accidentally and dont know how to get it back. Is there any way I can find another?

    Snipping Tool

    I used to use the snipping tool to take snips of receipts online or other things I wasnt sure I'd be able to get back to. I used it for record keeping all the time. Then it disappeared. ThenI found snip, which is being discontinued. Where is there a snip
    tool so I can take a shot of just part of the screen? I am really frustrated.

    Snipping Tool

    It is in %windir%\system32\SnippingTool.exe

    Just try running it from there and if it works, just create a shortcut to it.

    No uninstall / reinstall is possible for the snipping tool. It is not listed in
    Programs & features or in its subsection Turn Windows features on or off.
