Windows 10: I deleted XPS Document Writer!

I ignorantly deleted XPS Document Writer printer. I've tried every process I could find online...I've tried adding a printer manually using an existing port and even creating a port...using Microsoft as manufacturer...there are no XPS Writer Options. Tried this:1. Press Windows key + R together to Open RUN.2. Now, write optionalfeatures in it and click OK. 3. Now, make sure that Microsoft XPS Document writer is checked. If not then check it.The box is checkmarked but filled...4. Now, Click on start button and then gear shaped icon to open settings.and so

I got all through this until: Look for "Microsoft XPS Document Writer v4" or of similar fare, XPS Class Driver

Microsoft XPS Document Writer is not in the list! Dead in the water..

 

Cannot reinstall Microsoft XPS Document Writer

I tried to use an Intuit QuickBooks tool to fix a problem with saving to a pdf. The tool deleted Microsoft XPS Document Writer from my printer list and then was unable to add it back. Intuit gave me a link to instructions for re-installing Microsoft XPS
Document Writer (https://community.intuit.com/articles/1019822-reinstall-microsoft-xps-document-writer-in-windows-7-8) myself. I followed the instruction exactly, but in the end got an error message "Unable to install printer. The handle is invalid." and I
have no idea what that means. I tried the Microsoft fixit DeviceCenterDiagnostic but it did not find anything. I tried to re-install Microsoft XPS Document Writer by choosing that I had a disk and browsed to the .inf file and in the end got the same error
message "Unable to install printer. The handle is invalid." How can I get around that and get Microsoft XPS Document Writer back as a valid printer?
