Windows 10 is awful. Especially on this crappy 200$ lenovo laptop I have. Funny enough, for running high processing apps or games, it does fine! But as I'm sitting here, with 3 tabs on Edge open and NOTHING ELSE going on, my memory is at 76%, my cpu is at 100% disk is jumping from 5%-95%. Been dealing with this for 2 years now, and I'm absolutely done. I wish to do a clean install of Windows 7, but using my windows 10 product key. It seems as if Microsoft has made this impossible, if not incredibly difficult. Would you please, for the love of all things usable computers, tell me how to 'downgrade' from this bloated nightmare of an operating system back to the unprotected windows 7. Even if my computer is hacked, at least it will give me less headaches than waiting 15 minutes to open a web browser.

    :)

  2. Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
