Windows 10: I did a Windows 11 update and now have a flashing screen; computer is unresponsive

About a month ago, I let my HP Envy x360 do an update for Windows 11. After I restarted and logged in, the screen starting flashing. It flashes between all white and my usual desktop background. The computer is unresponsive EXCEPT for the following:1. Control-alt-delete brings up the task manager. It does NOT flash. I can kill a process but that's about it. 2. I can bring up a command line, which I used to get to recovery options. They don't work. I tried to undo the update, and the system asked me for a recovery key. I couldn't get the recovery key "access denied" when I used the URL provide

Touch screen unresponsive after driver update

Dell SX2210T Flat panel touchscreen monitor unresponsive to touch after Automatic update of "NextWindow driver update for NextWindow 1950 UCS Compliant Touch Screen" in Windows 10.10240 and Tech preview 10.10525.

This is the wrong driver for this touchscreen but I am unable to find a means of uninstalling it.

It is not listed in the list of installed updates.

The correct driver is shown in Device manager for the screen.

Any suggestions please?

• Do you get any error message?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check as driver updates are also part of Windows updates.

Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Also uninstall and reinstall Display drivers from manufacturer website and check. Refer the steps below.

  Press “Windows + X” and select
  Device Manager.

  Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.

  Right click on the driver icon and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Go to Driver tab.
  
• 
  Select Uninstall and follow onscreen instructions.

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

• • Right click on start button and click on Device manager.
    
  • Expand Display Drivers.
  • Right click on the driver and select Update driver.
