    Network Adapter Properties (Advanced Tab)

Alright so I have this problem with my 5Ghz internet. I was using it just fine till I suddenly felt my wifi went super slow. So normally I would restart the router and carry on. However, this time I could not find the 5Ghz internet anymore. Instead, only
    the 2.4ghz is around.

So I looked online and the usual steps are going to Network Adapter Properties and open the advanced tab then you will alot of stuff listed there right? However, mine only has 3. Roaming Aggresiveness, Network Address, D0 packet coelescing. I have tried
looking online for more solutions but theres just none.

My router clearly supports 5ghz along with my laptop. So whats the problem here?

    Need help.

  3. Network adapters show up in device manager but not network connections

    Hi Benxas,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    1) Are you connect to Wired/Wireless network?

If you are connected to wireless network the I suggest you to refer to the Microsoft article and check if it helps.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3084164

If you are Connected to wired connection, then I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Right-click the Start icon and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Network adapters, right-click your Broadcom adapter, and select
      Properties.
    • In the Driver tab, click Driver Details.
    • Under Driver files, if the path listed ends with either k57nd60a.sys or k57nd60x.sys, or a variant of this file name, then please continue with the solution provided below.
If it does not match these file names, the proposed workaround is not likely to resolve your issue.
Please post the make and model of your PC, along with the driver file name, and the Driver Date and Driver Version listed in the Driver tab, along with an explanation of the symptom you are experiencing.

If the name of your Broadcom driver matches k57nd60a.sys or k57nd60x.sys, to resolve your problem:
    • Return to the Device Manager.
    • Expand Network adapters, right-click your Broadcom adapter, and select
      Properties.
    • In the Advanced tab, look for and select the property, “Receive Side Scaling”.
Set it to Disabled, and click OK.
    • You may need to reboot your computer.
Please reply to us with the status of the issue.

    Thanks.

'Network Address' property not displaying for wireless adapter

If you go to the "Device Manager" control panel window, and open the 'Network Adapters' drop down, there is a list of different Network Adapters. My goal was to change the MAC address on my wireless adapter that I use to connect to the wifi. You can do
this by displaying the properties of a network adapter in the list. When I open up the 'advanced' tab in the properties window, only 4 properties show up, none of which allow me to change my mac address, however I am able to change my mac address of the computer
    itself, but this does nothing.
