Windows 10: I don't have a cellular data on my pc

I have a hp elitebook 840 g5 and have plugged in my Sim card.Ive updated to Windows 11 and cannot find the Cellular option.I tried to install many drivers but it doesn't work.Please can you advise how i can find the Cellular option.

"Don´t roam" does not work

I recently had the same problem using T-Mobile and a Lumia 710 here in the U.S. Moving to a small town with no t-mobile data connection, I checked my phone and it was correctly set to Settings->cellular->Data roaming options: "don't roam". And yet I soon
recieved a message from T-mobile stating that I had used 80 percent of my free roaming. I called T-mobile and they did not seem to have a solution to this problem. Their only suggestion was to turn off Data (Settings->cellular->DataConnection: Off). This logically
makes the data roaming options redundant. My guess is that this is a new bug in the latest update to Windows Phone.

 

Cellular Disconnected

I have a cellular modem in my Dell Precision 3520. I used it Friday without any problems at all. Today, as I'm at work, I cannot connect to AT&T's cellular network.

When I click the network icon in the system tray, it shows my cellular connection as "AT&T (HSPA)" and then reads "Disconnected" underneath it. It shows 5 bars. If I open network properties and try to troubleshoot the adapter, it gives me a SIM2 error that says I need to enter a PIN code (there is no PIN code on the SIM card, but just for troubleshooting purposes I added one, still got the same error, and then ultimately removed it again).

Things I have tried so far:

• Toggling cellular on/off
• Rebooted computer (several times)
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver (twice)
• System restore to the point where it was working the other day
• Ejecting the SIM card and reinserting it
• Verifying that data is turned on with my AT&T count
• Enabling/disabling PIN code
• Resetting network settings via command prompt
• Creating a new APN (with phone, NXTGENPHONE, etc.)

Any tips?

 

Cellular Data connectivity

The resets don't work. I have found a solution to the Cellular data problem. I manually entered the APN information into the cellular network settings and I can now connect to the T-Mobile cellular data service again. I configured the MMS APN, however,
no luck with the MMS problem. I'm going to dig through T-Mobile's website to see if I can find anything further on MMS APN configuration.
