    I don't have a virus or threat protection program on my computer anymore.


    I downloaded something yesterday that I thought was innocent but after unzipping and executing it it seems to have deleted windows defender off my computer completely. I have been scouring the internet in hopes to find an answer to my problem. I had the anti virus that comes with windows 10 but now it's just gone. I downloaded Microsoft Defender thinking it was the same thing but it was telling me I needed to pay and now it is showing up as the anti virus I use when it isn't the one I had.

    Virus and Threat Protection Issue

    When looking to run a virus scan on my computer, I'm met with an error that says "Virus and Threat Protection is Managed by your Organization." THis is a personal laptop though. Any suggestions?

    Virus and threat protection has stopped and will not restart, Windows 10 ver 1709, antimalware client ver 4.12.16299.15 . SuperAntiSpyware installed.

    I have tried most of the suggestions from the support pages, all have been ineffective. Any suggestions

    "Your Virus & Threat Protection is Managed by your Organization" message is displayed in red when i open virus and threat protection in windows defender please help me resolve this problem also i do not have any other antivirus program on my laptop.
