Discus and support I don't have show location of pointer when i press ctrl, so why does my pointer keep... in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; It doesn't matter what im doing it just wont stop I've been looking up this for 2 days now and I keep getting the same answer to turn off ctrl to show...     I don't have show location of pointer when i press ctrl, so why does my pointer keep...


    It doesn't matter what im doing it just wont stop I've been looking up this for 2 days now and I keep getting the same answer to turn off ctrl to show pointer when its already off

    Black spot under mouse pointer

    Just a wild shot: you don't have the "Show location pointer when I press the CTRL key" enabled under mouse settings in the control panel do you? That's the only possible reason I could think of, but still unlikely.

    Mouse Pointer disappears for a minute or two

    Hide pointer when typing is unchecked. I checked Show Location of pointer when I press CTRL and when the pointer is there, it shows. But then it doesn't. I thought it was related to dialog boxes but doesn't seem so.
