Windows 10: I dont know what Mhz my ram is

When i look in task manager it says 2667MHz but in my program that says all the computer things, it says its 1329MHzWhich one is true ? and is it worth it to get 32GB of ram of 2666 MHz i have 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1329MHz 19-19-19-43

The QVL (qualified vendors list) for the board lists RAM up to 2400 MHz, but run at 1333. Support for high frequency RAM, but only after a fashion.

I guess that anything over that would be overclocking. All that I can suggest is trying it (may require manually setting the memory frequency in the BIOS) and running a memory test to see whether it is stable.

 

Ram Mhz Cut In Half

For one i would not yet be trying to overclock my RAM if i am having issues with it, i would set the BIOS to default settings for all, if not had tried this yet. So what was exact model number of PNY ? Not sure where you are lowering it, but would think 1066MHZ for 2133MHZ. Think that is highest frequency it can run at 2133mhz.

Yes, it may work, but you need to find the correct modes yourself unfortunately. That's why I suggest to set RAM frequency to 2133 MHz. If the system will be stable, you may try to increase the frequency step by step.
