Windows 10: I don't know what to do after updating my BIOS on my motherboard because the key I used...

Hello, so I recently built a new pc and for windows I used an older retail version windows 10 pro key. I deactivated it from the old computer and then installed it onto my new computer. After a couple of days I did a BIOS update on my motherboard and it deactivated my key. I tried using the troubleshooter and pressed the "Changed hardware recently" option, but since the old key was not originally under my Microsoft it never showed up. I accepted the free upgrade to Windows 11 thinking it might fix the problem but it didn't. I have the key on hand but I don't know what to do. Please help me.

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

Should new MB's BIOS be upgraded to latest ver. first on PC refresh?

If you don`t know what you`re doing and you have no specific reason to update the Bios, then leave it alone before you ruin another motherboard.*Wink

Just clean install windows as already suggested.

Lol, there is still so many myths about flashing bios and people actually believe in them. People, this is 2018, not 1998, bios updates are easy and when file is provided by manufacturer themselves then they do RMA gpus, motherboards, mice and all other devices which failed during flashing.
