Outline of text boxes

I can't see the outline of the boxes (I don't know what they're called) that i write text into...for example when I pull up Google - the place where I need to type into is too light!

It's the same on all pages that i open...

I would like to darken them.

I've looked everywhere!

In the screenshot, I am unable to see any weird outlining. But if you are seeing any issue with the display then I suggest you to try installing all the pending Windows Updates and check for the issue. If the issue still persists then try changing
the resolution and check.

Firefox Search Box Text

In previous versions of Firefox, I was able to find the option to disable the browser from showing previously entered text into a search or text box. For example, the User Name box on this forum, I type "O" and OrbitzXT pops up. Other text in other search boxes has been popping up as well. I am using Firefox 3.6, I've tried clearing histories and such and it still remembers text in the boxes. Any ideas how to disable this? I don't see any such option in Tools -> Options.
