I don't think my new hard drive is configured correctly

I installed a new 1TB HDD, 7200rpm in my laptop. I upgraded to Windows 10 in December. Looking in Disk Management I only have a Disk 0 with what appears to be 4 partitions. the first one is 1.46GB labeled Healthy (Active, Recovery Partition)but under Capacity has 1.45GB & then under Free Space has 1.46GB 100% free, no file system, the second is Volume (C: ) 915.48GB Capacity, NTFS, Free Space 775.89GB 85% free, Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition), the third is 450MB Capacity with 450MB free space 100% free with no file system, Healthy, (Recovery Partition) & the fourth is 14.13GB Capacity, 14.13GB free space 100% free with no file system, Healthy, (Primary Partition). This just doesn't look right to me. Is it? If not, what can I do about it? *Shock

Windows 10 - Can't Run Applications From Search

I think you have misunderstood, my computer is picking up my hard drive, just the diagnostic test isn't. In addition, the instructions given by Nyima Yonten don't work after the Creators update, as the settings menu has been changed. Never the less, I have
verified the status of my hard drives, and they are all working correctly.

    Thanks for any help

    broken hard drive

My laptop is Sony Vaio and last year I let I drop had to get a new hard drive 750GB. My laptop screen was going so I kept turning it off and I and after a while it said no hard drive. My laptop is only three years old and I would rather replace my hard
drive than getting a new laptop just as much and I don't think my laptop would allow me to backup my files. And do I do it if I don't have a hard drive is there a way

I don't think my new hard drive is configured correctly

Your Hard Disk is configured correctly. Disk management will not show those partitions using up space, and all of those partitions are correct. After upgrading to Windows 10 it creates new recovery partitions as the previous recovery partition won't work with Windows 10.

    Everything looks good to me.

I'm just unsure of the partition at the end, the 14.13GB one. That may be an old recovery partition for an old OS perhaps
