Windows 10: I don't understand how to disable the touchpad in my Windows 8.1 tablet

Hello everyone. I ask for advice. I don't understand how to disable the touchpad in my Windows 8.1 tablet. I have a mouse and the touchpad gets in the way, especially when I'm playing games. I read tips on the internet but didn't find anything similar. In the "Control Panel" in the mouse control menu there is nothing about the touchpad. There is a touchpad menu in the main menu of the tablet, but there is nothing about disabling it.

Best windows 8 tablet?

I've apple ipod touch 4g, google nexus 4, hp envy 17 3d, so using all 3 OS - iOS, android, windows 7.

I dont have any tablet yet..thinking to buy windows 8 tablet..

i like hp envy x2 much..tablet cum notebook..

but microsoft surface and many other good tablets in market and i dont have idea..

suggest me best windows 8/?RT tablets..

These 7 steps allowed me to disable my touchpad (Dell laptop, Windows 10):

1. Win Start button
2. Type in "device manager"
3. Select Device Manager to open it
4. Click down arrow to left of "Mice and other..." to expand
5. Right click Dell Touchpad
6. Disable device
7. Yes
