    I don't understand how to turn off virtualization based security


    Uninstalled Virtual Machine from "Turn Windows features on or off" Disabled core isolationUsed regedit but the "EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity" option is not even there in the "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" locationSystem information still shows that Virtualization based security is still runningAll of this is on a laptop running windows 11 that was updated from windows 10 using an activated copy

    Turn of Virtual memory?

    if you google it , lots of litrature suggest turning of Page file (virtual memory) if you have enough RAM for example like i have 4GB with Win XP and have almost 1 GB reserve.

    They claim that because the CPU can acess the RAM faster than it can acess the virtual memory in the hrd disk your system will be faster.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
    i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

    Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound checkbox is gone

    Hi,

    I see several post and i don´t have the option to 'Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound' checkbox in Windows 10 sound panel control.

    Really you can´t select this option in current branch 1903?
