Windows 10: I downloaded a game called bus simulator and it try’s to load and it just takes me straight...

Flight Simulator / Gaming Services

Hello all,

I downloaded an update to Flight Simulator today (I'm using Bootcamp from a Macbook), now the simulator doesn't open. It goes straight to the MS Store, specifically to GAMING SERVICES. It tells me to download, which I try to do. Nothing. To the left of that
screen it says I already have Gaming Services installed.

I've restarted the machine twice, nothing. There are several other people out there with the same problem apparently, asking various help boards. One apparent fix was to open Power Shell and start dinking around...I'm not informed enough to start going into
file systems.

Does anyone know what's going on with this? More importantly, does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do? And: if a MS rep is out there listening, why??

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

Loading MIcrosoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 in Windows 10 incompatibility mode

Combat Flight Simulator 3: Known graphics issues


Follow the below steps to install Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 in compatible mode and check if it helps.

• Right click on the program you want to install in compatible mode.
• Go to Properties.
• Under Compatibility Tab, Check the option “Run this program in compatibility mode for”
• Select previous operating system the game is compatible with.
• Click on Apply and OK.
