Windows 10: I downloaded creation tool and it removed all files on my USB

    I downloaded creation tool and it removed all files on my USB


    I downloaded it to reset my PC and it deleted all my personal files which included old photos from 2013 etc. Is there any way to recover my files, there was never any pop-up to erase the drive, is there any recovery tool / way to get it back? I've tried the EaseUS tool, and it didn't work.Please just put a pop-up to erase everything into the tool and please let me know if there's a way to recover my photos.

    Resetting PC problem via windows and media creation tool

    Maybe its something about how you made the USB. To make a USB that will be certain to be bootable, download the Media Creation Tool and follow the steps in Option One of this tutorial.

    Download Windows 10 ISO File

    at step 6, leave the 'Use the recommended options for this PC' box checked.
    at step 8, select 'USB flash drive'.
