I downloaded the evaluation copy of windows 10 evaluation for school, however when I attempt to install in vmware it say windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License. Help?

you can't remove the "evaluation copy" watermark, it is on every insider build

it is an evaluation copy not an evaluation period. is simply shows that you are running an insider build of windows 10. just to differentiate from the released version.

as you are in the fast ring you can expect new (evaluation) builds once or twice a week.

if/when you decide to leave the insider program and install the released version, the "evaluation copy" watermark will go, but as long as you run insider builds you will have that watermark

think of it as an insider badge.

it really is nothing to worry about and after a while you will forget it is there.

If so, a evaluation copy of Windows is activated with a product key that will run out after a period of time. You will then need to purchase a full Product Key to permanently activate Windows . . . .

Do you think you are running an evaluation copy of Windows - this would be really unusual . . .

I have Windows 10 home insider preview Evaluation copy, build 10130. Will I get a notification to upgrade to the full version? Right now I get a messege that my OS does not qualify. I had 8.1 but downloaded the Evaluation copy and can not get 8.1 back.
What can I do?
