Windows 10: I encountered the Bad System Config Info error and I can't seem to fix it

Startup repair doesn't work.

Took out my ram and put put back in.

Reconnected the SATA cable to my HDD.

Tried to fix the registry to no avail.

Also tried the bcdedit command. Didn't work.

My only option left seems to be a reset as system restore doesn't seem to work, but I really don't wanna have to reinstall all my programs.

Any suggestions?

Can someone advise how to fix this?

 

Bad system config info

I keep getting a “bad system config info” error on my screen. It’s a blue screen error. I tried doing a bcdedit delete value and the path is an error. How do I fix this?

 

Bad system config info and failure to launch windows 10

Windows 10 on a Dell XPS about 1.5 yrs old

turned machine on and got the Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart; bad system config info.

Went through the multiple suggestions to fix, repair or restore but none of them were successful. Seemed to get a consistent response that a problem was encountered and therefore no the problem couldn’t be resolved.

Under troubleshoot attempted the prompt command option. The message under the Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.17134.1] said not enough resources available to process this command.

I found a video on youtube to address the bad system config info issue and followed the steps as presented.

After going through that process my system still won’t boot up.

there apprared to be enough free space on C.
