Windows 10: I ended the windows explorer task by accident and restarted my pc trying to fix it now all...

I tried going into the bios and changing the boot service but i only have one, i reset the settings to defaults and nothing, i changed the sata to ssa from hdd and nothing, idk much abt pc’s and im really disappointed it appears that my windows is completely gone over this and idk how i can get it back, ik the way to do it was to search up explorer.exe and that would fix it but i cant get the task manager on the bios or the reboot screen, pls someone tell me what i can do

End tasked Windows Explorer

In Windows 10 from task manager, I hit end task for Windows Explorer. My desktop is gone, Alt +4 doesn't being up shut down function. One suggestion was to click on new task in task manager, but I can't find new task. Help please. Thank you

 

Windows Explorer Replacement?

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

 

File explorer not searching in This PC

I suggest you to reset Windows explorer and check the behavior.

Please follow the steps:

  Right click on the task Bar and select Task Manager.
  
• 
  Select Processes tab.
  
• 
  Choose windows explorer and right click on it.
  
• 
  Select end task
  
• 
  Click on file menu and select run new task.
  
• 
  Type explorer.exe
  
• 
  Click on ok.
