I go by HP Compaq Elite 8300, Can you please type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, then share a screenshot of the pop up please. That way I can verify the SKU code. Thanks!

This issue appears to be related to the drivers. However, we've encountered a significant hurdle in resolving it. Upon reviewing the driver support status for this particular model on HP's official website at https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-compaq-..., it's evident that there are no Windows 10 drivers available for this model. Given that this model is quite old, driver support is limited to Windows 8.1.

While this doesn't necessarily mean that Windows 10 won't function on this computer, it does imply that there's no assurance of it working flawlessly, especially if you decide to run Windows 10, as there are no compatible drivers specifically designed for this model. You can attempt to use the Windows 8.1 drivers listed on the aforementioned page, but there's no guarantee of success at this point. I am sorry.

 

Is Windows-10 is preventing we from using Windows-7 on my PC?
