Windows 10: I factory reset my PC and its stuck in windows installation at 64% and it constantly restarts

Please help it loads up to a dell splash screen then for a split second it shows the install screen where it says its stuck at 64% and then it restarts, I’ve tried everything i unplugged my drives, I’ve spammed all the F keys nothing works PLEASE HELP.

I have this exact issue at the moment. The factory reset is stuck at 64% and no, the answer given wasn't very helpful AT ALL. The screen is still stuck at 64%, what's the next step i should take? Should i manually force the PC to shut down and start it back
up? Urgent, thanks.

 

Installing windows stuck at 64% after factory resetting

I have acer aspire cloudbook 11 ao131c9pm. Due to the limited space on the computer i decided to delete all my files ( school work mostly) by doing a factory reset.

The computer is stuck on the installing windows page. A messge says "your pc will restart several times. Sit back and relax." Its been about a week now.

Each time the computer restarts it will begin at 64% where it will either progress to a higher percentage then restart to 64% or restart at 64% to begin at 64% again.

When i got this computer (new) windows 10 was loaded on it. I have no cd or anything for it. (Doesn't have cd drive)

32gb eMMc and 2gb DDR3 memory

 

Windows 8.1 & windows 10 : fail to factory reset and stuck in restart

Ztruker's post will get you to Win10, but if I understand the issue you wanted to fix a non-working Asus Win8.1 Factory Reset by upgrading to Win10.

My question is what OS do you want on your system, Win8.1 or Win10.
There might be a way to access the Asus recovery partition and do a reset from there - I think that can be done, but I would have to research the exact process to provide step-by-step instructions.

If you want to get to Win10 - then I mis-interpreted your post.

There seems to be an underlying issue on your system as far as the Asus Win8.1 Factory Reset issue is concerned.

The question might be moot if you've already started the Win10 Clean install.
Getting to Win10 is easy, getting back to Win8.1 after a Clean install requires a bit more work (windows.old and possibly the Asus Recovery partition are no longer available).
