Windows 10: I forgot my laptop password and PIN to login which was linked to microsoft home user

I forgot my laptop password and PIN to login which was linked to microsoft home user. I also tried to recover account but i cannot what should i do.

Login screen: How to remove the 'I forgot my password/pin' link

For some reason, there is a link below the field where I enter my password on the login/lock screen that says 'I forgot my password/pin.'

I don't think this is normal, I have seen login screens without it.

I installed Win 10 using a 'local' account, then switched to a Microsoft account if this helps.

Looked for ways to remove this link but can't find any. Anyone know how to remove it?

Hi I gave reset option in the laptop with keep my files setting. Then it was asking for password to login to the laptop. But previously I used to login through pin and now I forgot my password.

Tried resetting my Microsoft account password through mobile. still laptop is saying like password is incorrect. Can someone help me on this.?
