    I forgot my Microsoft account password, so I can't get the bitlocker key to access to my laptop


    I forgot my Microsoft account password, I also can't reset the password using my mobile number because it's unfortunately changed a long time ago. And when I reached the questions sections to reset my password. I try and it the end it denies acces... Tells me that these answers aren't correct I need to access my email urgent so I can get the bitlocker key to access my laptop as well

    you know when you boot up your computer... and yeha i have more than one account and I forgot the password to one of them.

    is there anyway for me to get in to the account? or the account will be perminant lock if i dont remember password?

    Forgot PC login and Bitlocker Passwords

    Assuming you get past keyboard issues .....


    Are you using a Microsoft or local account to login?


    Hoping it is Microsoft. If so, on another device, go to account.microsoft.com and use the password recovery process to regain access to account. Once password is reset, recommend just using standard characters, try accessing your laptop.


    You may even find your bitlocker key on your onedrive.

    Hi everyone,
    I have BitLocker enabled for my custom built computer's main drive and forgot the password since I haven't used the computer for a month or so. I looked at a lot of possible ways to fix the problem, yet they don't apply. I don't have a backup recovery key on a USB nor a printout. I used to have it in my Microsoft account, but I don't know where it is now. What can I do to start up my PC without having to format the drive? I have important files on here that I forgot to back up, and would love to get access to them again. Also, I have a text file that I can access from another drive that has all my general passwords. I know the first, second, and last characters of the password, yet I cannot remember everything in between.

    All help is appreciated. Thanks
