Windows 10: I Forgot my pin not working from Lock screen in Windows hello for business

Hi,I have Windows 11 machine, Windows Hello for Business is setup and working, also PIN reset is working from Accounts setting area where Face and other settings are.But not working from CTRL-ALT-DEL.I can see event id 5061 failure with defaultuser100001likely locally created user for pin resetnon destructive is enabled, 2 apps are already allowed in M365 portal which are required for PIN service.Also device wipe also tried but same result after wipe

How to Reset Forgot Windows 10 Pro Hello PIN

I have a domain joined the system and I set Windows Hello PIN sign-in option but I forgot my pin and am unable to find my current PIN when it's clicking on change (Screen-Shot Attached). Also, i am unable to find "forgot option" near Windows Hello PIN. Also i am unable to change PIN from login screen when i click on forgot PIN the next screen it to Provide my domain id password when i press and enter the next screen is back to Windows Login Screen before ALT+CTRL+DEL onces

I turned off the option you told me in settings. Now the password option also showing. But lock screen forgot pin or forgot password option not working.

If wifi is not connected, when i press 'forgot password' it says I want a internet connection. But when I connect wifi and try nothing happens (loading circle appear for few seconds)

But for 'forgot pin' , nothing happens whether or not the internet connection connected.

I guess, I have to try windows reintall step. I upgrade windows 11 from 22h2 to 23h2 version using the same method you mentioned. (Using official iso). I downloaded that iso after a few days that version was released. Can I use that iso for reinstall or do I have to download iso now? (Has the iso on site been updated?)

 

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

Try the steps here:

• Navigate to PC Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Click on I forgot my PIN link.
• Next, click on the Continue button in the Are you sure you forgot your PIN? screen.
• You can now add a new PIN and click OK.
