    I forgot my PIN on an older laptop, it doesn't have an option to reset.


    I have an HP Split from 2014 or so, and I have forgotten the PIN to the lock screen. Now after 1 incorrect entry, it tells me I have entered the wrong number too many times and to restart the device. This only gives me one more try before telling me to restart again, and the booting process takes *forever*.On the lock screen, it just has the box for PIN, not the usual "forgot PIN" question. Please tell me there is a way to get into this computer. I am not sure if this is windows 10...after xp I haven't kept up. I had a galaxy tablet from 2012 to 2013, then got this in either 2013 or 14 so wha
