Windows 10: I forgot my pin to sign into my laptop. Pls help!

I forgot my pin to sign into my laptop Microsoft Surface 5. No other sign-in option available.I tried your method of getting into the Safe mode. Entered BitLocker Recovery Key also. But when entered into safe mode it only says ---> "Something happened and your PIN isn't available.Click to set up your PIN again". When I click on "Set up my PIN". Nothing really happens.I also reset the drive. How do I recover my PIN or login to my laptop now?Pls help. Thanks.

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

Problem Changing PIN or Hitting forgot my PIN

I forgot what build # it was but it was created before the offical relase of Windows 10 (When it was in development)

 

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

Try the steps here:

• Navigate to PC Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Click on I forgot my PIN link.
• Next, click on the Continue button in the Are you sure you forgot your PIN? screen.
• You can now add a new PIN and click OK.
