Windows 10: I forgot my Windows password

I forgot my Windows password; however, my CPU will occasionally log itself in. However, when I try to reset my Windows password, I am asked to verify myself using Microsoft Authenticator, which asks me for the code. However, my Microsoft Authenticator says, "Authenticator locked....Ready to add your first account?" which does not help me. The alternative way to verify myself is to enter the password which is what I have forgotten. Would you or someone be able to help me?I have a Gateway Desktop XPS 8960: Device name AKOsDesktop Processor IntelR CoreTM i9-14900K 3.20 GHz Installed RAM

Um, are we talking about a windows password?

Lookup a program called Active Password Changer, its a bootable cd that will remove windows passwords *Smile

If it's a bios password, reset the bios *not so easy with some notebooks*

you know when you boot up your computer... and yeha i have more than one account and I forgot the password to one of them.

is there anyway for me to get in to the account? or the account will be perminant lock if i dont remember password?
