Windows 10: I formatted my PC and reinstalled windows 10 and now my PC won't fully shut down.

For context:So a few months ago I noticed my pc was running a little slow and so i figured I'd just reset it and reinstall windows 10 from scratch.However to my horror a lot of things broke.... First of all it seems like all of my audio aux ports on my PC no longer work. I've asked online forums and no one could figure out what the issue is. I have tried doing another reset and reinstalling windows 10, that didn't fix it. I've tried installing the drivers from my motherboard's manufacturer website many times and it didn't work. Nothing seemed to work to the point the online forums just think t

Hi, I've done everything you've listed short of a clean install of windows 10/11. Personally I've already done that when i first did the clean install that caused all of these problems, i tried to fix it but doing it again so I don't think it will work now. I've tried every single other step but none of them fixed it including a windows 11 repair/upgrade. I still have the issue of my pc not being able to shut down properly. The blue light stays on and so do the fans. The only way to turn it back on is to hold down the power button until the pc actually shuts off completely, then click it again to turn it back on.

What could be the issue? Is it hardware, that was somehow triggered by the clean installer of windows 10? I've noticed my pc slowly getting worse and worse. Things keep crashing, my pc is getting slower and a lot of apps don't work properly anymore.

 

Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true
