    I Found a WIndows folder, within the main Windows folder! What ?


    HelloI have been using Windows since DOS 3.1 and this is the first time I saw this!I notice Windows 10 22H2 misbehaving several times in various ways, but nothing huge - ever, but that is Windows right? I tend to keep system always in good shape, updated, uninstalling non used applications and so on - the usual tidying.What is going on with this windows within main Windows c: folder?Anyone ever encountered it?I see within Windows c: folder usual folders - but much less than usual, then within the extra Windows which is almost 15Gb, I see all the usual folders!Can anyone explain?I do

    Windows installation folder

    A couple of years ago, I read that Windows has a special folder that contains files used during the installation process. Also, I heard there's another folder that Windows uses as a back-up of every system file, just in case the user wants to do a system restore. Where can I find both folders and are they safe to delete?

    Windows Folder SiZE ???

    Im using vista 64 and the windows folder is HUGE. Its over 18GB and seems to keep on increasing. I only have a 40GB partition for windows and software so im running out of space. Googling about this brought me to topics where users have 8GB windows folders. Im wondering why mine is soo big and what I can do to make it smaller

    my windows folder is 16.3gb. i don't think there's anything out of the ordinary personally.
