Windows 10: I found out being able to use a external SSD device to download and then be able to play...

hello Jaspreet Singh,I went to a SSD site that sells the ssd external drives and this is what he typed back to me about being able to download and then play the game from the ssd external drive. He said, Concerning the games, again this depends on the game or game client in question, some may not allow to run from removable storage devices. The game or game client publisher should be able to answer that for you. So Now how do i ask steam or epic games or windows games if i can use a ssd drive to download and then play games from ssd external drive? Or how do i find on each game web site

• Are you able to watch videos which are stored in computer and online?
• Are you able to view photos and documents etc. from hard drive?
  

I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.



Follow the steps and check if that helps.

• Type Troubleshooting on Search and hit
  Enter.
• Click on View all and click on Video playback.
• Click on Advance and check Apply repairs automatically.
  
• Follow on-screen instructions.

By running this troubleshooter it will find and fix issue with playing movies, television and video. Do let us know if you are able to play videos from external hard drive. Thank you.

 

I'm not able to play Blu-Ray discs on my desktop computer

It looks like the OP either has the Verbatim 43888 or the Verbatim 43889. Both use only one USB port.
If power is the problem maybe the OP should have gotten the Verbatim 43890 which as a Y-splitter so it uses 2 USB ports to give additional power. The Verbatim 43890 can also be powered by an optional AC adapter.
