    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    hello,

    i am not so good in creating batch files i need some help in creating one.

    in the following path

    C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

    there is a .SHD and .SPL file created when prints launched

    i need a batch file to open the .SPL in notepad first then on closing the notepad opened, all the files .SHD and .SPL are permanently deleted

    any help please

    code to open the notepad is as below

    start notepad "C:\windows\system32\spool\printers\FP00002.SPL"

    the file is opened but there are unwanted characters that appear as well as below

    Is there a way to open a local text file:// from a html link in Notepad++

    I have a set of files that use HTML to refer to other locally stored .txt files on my system.

    Is there a way to force firefox to open local file paths that are .txt files in my notepad application.

    For example the link on a page is file://path/to/local/textfile.txt

    Firefox currently opens this as a text file, but I would rather it just sent the file path to Notepad++ to deal with instead.
