Windows 10: I get a bad return code on "Stop CryptSvc" task

I am running a simple (2 lines) script called "Stop CryptSvc" saved in C:\ that starts on event 1074 and sometimes (1 out of 30) I get a bad return code, the task runs 2 sec too late (after apps delayed the task) or the task runs OK but the CryptSvc service was not stopped. Not sure if this is an acceptable performance? I wonder if I rearrange the action tab items





and place the full path in "add argument" and just CryptSvc.bat in Program/script?
I already added c:\ in "Start in"

Any suggestions?

Restoring CryptSvc

Hi. I mistakenly deleted my CryptSvc program, and then also foolishly tried to restore it via a reg key restoration link from TenForums (https://www.windowsphoneinfo.com/threads/restore-default-services-in-windows-10.4974/). That said, a CryptSvc folder
is displayed in my registry, and CryptSvc is listed again in my Services directory. I'm not sure about the reg folder's condition (and I've returned to my hands-off reg policy), but the Services listing and CryptSvc Properties indicate a problem with CryptSvc.
Both state, "<Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 15100 >." Is there some way I can repair my CryptSvc? Its dll folder (C: Windows >WinSxS) is apparently still intact, at least it seems to be okay, based on its appearance when I opened it in Notepad.

Anyway, I'll appreciate whatever solutions or suggestions can be provided here.

P.S. I apologize again for my folly, and for interrupting this forum. My deletion experiment was in reaction to my Windows 10 Updating troubles (laptop heat, slow-downs, repeated notifications and installation failures, etc. - despite help from Windows
Update Assistant, Media Creation Tool, so on), but I should have just ignored it all. --j

 

stop code bad pool caller

I've tried numerous suggestions but can't seem to fix the Stop Code Bad Pool Caller from continually coming up. I use Windows 10, with a Samsung Series 7 computer. I'm hoping to find something specific to the Bad Pool Caller error. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Windows 10 app store recently stopped working

To address your issue, we suggest you to try resetting Windows Store components. To do so, follow these steps:

• Right-click Start and open Command Prompt (Admin).
• Run these codes:
  
  Net Stop bits
  
  Net Stop wuauserv
  
  Net Stop appidsvc
  
  Net Stop cryptsvc
  
  Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
  
  Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
  
  Net Start bitsNet Start wuauservNet Start appidsvc
  
  Net Start cryptsvc
• After running these commands, check if your issue is fixed.
