Windows 10: I get a pop-up HP-audio switch not working and says to install a .net version inferior to...

whenever I switch on my laptop i get a popup to install a specific .net version inferior to what is already installed , also I get different version to install every other time a different popup. And I cannot install a new application also , same thing it says to install a specific version to install "Update.exe - This application could not be started " ,requires following version .net framework v4.0.30319 PS-I am not able to upload picture of my problem due a technical error here.

HP Audio Switch

My PC is an HP AIO desktop using Windows 10 version 1809, the HP Audio Switch came already installed and it all works fine.
HP Support Assistant has now listed an Audio Switch update which I have not yet installed.
I have surfed the web trying to find out what this switch actually does. It appears to control speakers between apps.

I only have my one computer and no other apps. Thus there is only the one set of PC speakers involved.
In my case this switch seems redundant and I am considering leaving it alone and not installing the new update.

The last thing I need is for my audio/sound to fail.
So briefly -
1. Is the HP Audio Switch essential for my audio/sound ? No switch - no sound ?
2. If it is not, then I will ignore the matter and not install the update. Leave well alone.
3. If it is, then I will install the update.

Your comments please would be gratefully received.

Nobody replied to this issue, so here is my conclusion.

Malwarebytes AdwCleaner listed the HP Audio Switch as pre-installed unnecessary crap and wanted to delete it.
I have not deleted it as it is doing no harm, albeit also doing no good. Let sleeping dogs lay.

So that answers and concludes my problem.

.net framework 3.5 sp1 not installing

All right.. this is the funny a$$ part.. So.. TRT, I did what you said.. then did something I should of did WAY before starting this.. Reg cleaner.. lol..


So.. my steps..

• Uninstall everything to which it's just .net framework 2.0
  
• Restart
  
• Install 3.5 sp1 via *Stick Out Tongue rogram and Features: Turn off....
  
• Restart
  
• Reg clean threw CCleaner 4 times, every time had a issue.
  
• Verify that all .net up to 3.5 sp1 was installed and been verified to be working
  
• went to website
  
• saw a action to "run test" to see if system is compatible.
  
• Allowed Firewall/ windows defender to run said program (says it's a low grade trojan
  
• Went to issued program and opened..
  
• Worked..

lol... oh, how stupid I was.. I all ways run reg cleaner on new os's... My mind is losing myself... *Roll :roll:
