Discus and support I get 'Access Denied' to folders that show I have access in the folder's... in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Despite all of the suggestions in the Microsoft Community on this recurring issue, I cannot find any way to access folders/files on my own computer....     I get 'Access Denied' to folders that show I have access in the folder's...


    Despite all of the suggestions in the Microsoft Community on this recurring issue, I cannot find any way to access folders/files on my own computer. Trying to edit my user account in the folder's Properties/Security tab does not work.... even though I am an Administrator and it shows I have full permission to access, read, write, etc. the folder.

    LOL @ using software to hide a folder *Stick Out Tongue I get 'Access Denied' to folders that show I have access in the folder's... :p
    Right click folder, properties, and check permissions. Log on to the local admin account that is inevitably hidden, and give yourself permissions for read/write access to the folder.

    acceess denied to specific folder

    Hey i hide some folder which contain my personal data like family pic and some other stuff using a free software absolute folder hider but then i shift from windows 32 bit to 64 bit and forget to unhide my folder and now folder is hidden and whenever i tried to acceess typing folder patch in adrees path error occur that D:\Data is not acceessable
    access denied..
    is there any way to get my stuff back?

    why can't i ecxess all my folders on my portable hard drive when i plug it into my other computer? access denied. i have windows 10. i've tried all the suggestions offerd. i have one folder i can't access on this computer. no matter what i do.
