Windows 10: I get Attempted to Write to Read-Only Memory almost every time I use my computer

    I get Attempted to Write to Read-Only Memory almost every time I use my computer


    When I boot my computer, I can use it for some time and then out of nowhere, I receive a blue screen with Attempted to Write to Read-Only Memory error. I've tried a safe mode with networking but each time I try it I get another blue screen with system thread exception not handled error. I don't understand what might cause those errors.     "Attempted to write to read only memory" BSOD

    Without reading your dump, which is marginally helpful, some of the time, the 'attempt to write to read-only memory,' which refers to blocks of RAM set aside by the CPU, is usually the result of incorrectly coded application software.

    It's not a common error, since coders are careful not to do this, so while sloppy coding is always a possibility, it's more likely that the error stems for an application or a driver that has not been updated for Windows 10.

    Dump files are of value to a coder trying to troubleshoot a problem with their code. It's called a 'dump' - which is short for memory dump - because it is simply whatever is in RAM and the CPU's own caches.

    BSOD : Attempted write to readonly memory

    Unfortunatelly, even if i deleted the problematic drivers (i can not find them anymore at verifier), i got a bsod again with attempted write to readonly memory.

    Any more suggestion?

    I have had two BSODs this morning, the first was PFN list corrupt closely followed by Write to read only memory.

    This is a clean install of Windows 10, I thought it might cure the BSODs but no such luck. So glad to find this forum.
