    I get blank drop-down menus in Windows 11 File Explorer


    Example of problem: I select <View> in Explorer and get faded Icons and NO text descriptions such as Details, List, Tiles, Small Icons.This same problem occurs in Explorer, when I right-click a file and select <Open With> only the Icons are full/colored, but NO text description.This has been happening for a while and I'd like to fix it!! In other words, I'm not sure how many Windows 11 updates I've installed so I can't go back to before when this happened and do a <Restore Before>.Thanks, Alan

    File explorer right click blank slots on drop down menu.

    Most of the time, I right click a file and some of the slots on the drop down menu are blank. When I use FreeCommander XE instead of file explorer, they aren't blank. Any reason why this is?
