Windows 10: I get frequent STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION and need help. Occasionally I get bluescreens too...

Currently I'm experiencing STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION and STATUS_BREAKPOINT errors on multiple browsers Chrome, Edge as well as occasional blue screens SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL on Windows 11.I don't know if this matters but I also tested with Ubuntu on a separate drive I much less freqently still occasionally get SIGSEGV errors on Chrome there.Things I have done so far1 Disabled Hardware Acceleration2Ran FurMark GPU Stress Test no crashes3Ran Prime95 CPU Stress Test no crashes4Ran MemTest86+ for RAM no errors after 8 passes5Ran chkdsk and fsck. Thanks for the reply. But yeah the suggestions there aren't really usefull, and I think there's an underlying problem that causes this. The random errors in Chrome I can live with, but the bluescreens not so much....

 

Need Serious Help: How To Record Video of What is Done on my PC?

I suggest the following simple steps:

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.

 

Status_access_violation

I have an installed software tool in Windows 10 (where it used to be building software packages just fine in Windows 7) where the build is failing due to STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION exception error.

The build function is running a C29K C++ application (exe) in C:\Program Files (x86). System error below:

Could this be an issue with the System PATH variables? I do have full admin privileges to my WIN 10 laptop.
