Windows 10: I get spammed with this message many times a day. how to make it stop?

So getting spammed with this message everyday and if i play games like csgo in full screen it goes to deskopt and its very annoying, please help *Sad "how u wanna open this file?" "continue using the software" is what it says.

I would check to see what applications you have installed and see if one of them is creating the issue.

if it continues, then you may want to completely reformat your device to factory state. this will completely wipe your device of all data, so you will need to back up everything.

Overall I like the phone but I have 2 issues lately that really "#¤% me.



Sometimes when I shall answer a call I am unable to swipe the lock screen up and answer. I have found a solution to press the "close screen" button twice and then it work again. This problem have been there for months (from the beginning?)



The most "¤"#¤ problem is that the phone locks up and most of the time just display the text "Fortsætter" (continuing in English) when I try to wake up the phone by pressing the side button. Only way out is to perform a soft reset. This happens aprox 3 times
a day. The phone can also lock in other ways. Mostly when connecting to a WI-FI node.



Any suggestions other than performing a factory reset?

Trying to open a .js (javascript) file?. Rather suspicious. I would start by scanning my PC for malware.

 

With what? Just avast or?

Your system is trying to run a java script file. That could be anything; do you have a browser open when you play your games? If so, try closing the browsers and play a game, does this "How do you want to open this file" dialog still appear?

 

Is there a way he can reset it to this Kari?

 

Cliff, I think resetting it won't help, or am I missing your point?

 

Maybe he tried to "open" a JS file with something else by accident and change the default?? Just a thought because something similar happened to me(but luckily easy to fix in my case).

 

Dialog appears if anything is open or if everything is closed, it appears even when nothing is running at all, just the desktop... I don't think it's a virus cause no real reason and this started happening right after i installed W10. It's weird...

 

Haven't tried to open JS files, Default was javascript, i tried even on notepad but it just give 6010101011 code or something witch didn't rly help.

Yeah it looks similar to that, i check next time it pop-up's

 

When it pops up, select "Käytä aina tätä sovellusta tyypin .js tiedostojen avaamiseen" (Always use this app to open .js files). That should stop the pop-up.

 

Pop-up won't stop even i select it everytime, + nothing opened when io clicked it
