Windows 10: I get this error in the system log when trying to open Video Editor Microsoft Photos

Hi,


I get this error in the system log when trying to open Video Editor Microsoft Photos - which worked fine a few days ago


sorry the log is in Danish - but I think the error codes should provide the needed information I guess



0x80070002: Processen for pakken Microsoft.Windows.Photos_2020.19081.28230.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe kan ikke oprettes, fordi der blev registreret en fejl. [LaunchProcess]

Issues with Microsoft photo editor

2. Are you aware of any changes made on your computer recently?
   
3. What exactly happen when you try to use the Photo editor?
   
4. Which version of Windows are you currently using?
   

I understand you are facing issues with Photo editor application, if you are using the Photo editor app which is downloaded from Microsoft Store, I suggest you to refer the following article and try few troubleshooting
steps to fix issues with Photo editor
and check if that helps.

Microsoft has replaced Photo Editor with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, a new photo editing and cataloging program in Office 2010, in Office 2007, and in Office 2003.

If the application has been removed from your PC, when you install Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Office 2007, or Microsoft Office 2003, I suggest you to refer the following article to reinstall

Photo Editor and check if that helps.

Video editor gone from Photos

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with the missing feature on Photos app. I appreciate your effort in trying to fix the issue.

1. May I know on which device the issue persists?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 is installed on your device?

However, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix.



Method 1

Update Photos app

Refer the article Check updates for apps and games from Microsoft Store
for the steps.

and follow the steps.





You may also refer the suggestions from Riley
Lynn Nairn dated on May 7, 2018 regarding the issue with the missing Video editor feature.

photo editor and video editor

Please suggest me a very good video editor and a photo editor (although inbuilt photo editing is there but still if there is any better) for my nokia 808 pureview white and from where i can download these and install in my mobile.
