Windows 10: I get this RunDLL error every 15 seconds after closing it Windows 11

Out of nowhere I started getting an error message and I just cant seem to fix it, I've been searching in internet for 3 days and I still cant find the resolution to my specific problemI've tried basically most of the stuff that people recommend like Event Viewer, Malware Check, Registry Editor.Hope someone can help meThe image didnt upload but the error is basicallyRunDLLThere was a problem starting \temp\.dllThe specified module could not be foundThats all the info I have

Windows 10 Pro - Rundll Error Message

I am sorry to know that you are getting a Rundll error.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

Restart the computer and check. Also, check for Windows updates.

Try to run the following commands and check if it helps.

• Open command prompt and type the commands below (Type it in Search or Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Command Prompt admin).

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

powershell

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

• Close the Command Prompt window.
• Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.

RunDLL error (The specified module could not be found)

Hi Ziegfred,

Your antivirus program may have deleted the module. I couldn't find any reference to this DLL name on the web.

Rundll32.exe may have been triggered by the registry Run keys or Task Scheduler. You can use Autoruns to clear the orphaned entries.
