  1. I got 2 Blue screens in the span of 3 hours both with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug

OneDrive link to both mini dump files:

    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqdZrv_n_0po7jzdYXtEMF-d9ua3?e=6gzr6r

first time sharing something through OneDrive, let me know if you can access the files

I do not know the reason for these crashes. if some one could help me identify the cause for these crashes would greatly appreciate it. I did run the windows memory diagnostic and it did not find anything wrong, same with the "sfc /scannow" in cmd. it did not find anything wrong there either. First time getting a blue screen since i built the pc a year ago.

    :)

    Blue screen ntdll.sys CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

    Hi Victor,

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.
The ntoskrnl.exe may possibly occur due to the default value in the
Boot Loader section of the Boot.ini file which is missing or invalid. BSOD errors occur mostly due to incompatible, faulty or corrupted device drivers installed on the computer. To better assist you, I'd like to know any changes
you've made. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, I suggest that you follow the steps in this article on how to troubleshoot blue
screen errors. You can choose when did you get the error and perform the instructions.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

I got 2 Blue screens in the span of 3 hours both with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug

Critical Process Died blue screen error every hour

    Hello Arturs,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft community.

I appreciate you for providing details about the issue.

A blue screen error (also called a stop error) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. When you experience this type of error, you won’t be able to see things like the Start menu or the taskbar on the screen when your
PC is turned on. Instead you might see a blue screen with a message that your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart.

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.

    For reference:

    Bug Check 0xEF: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

    Bug Check 0xEF CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED - Windows drivers

However, I would suggest you to use steps provided in this article and check if it helps.

    Refer:

    Troubleshoot blue screen errors

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors

Note: When you use System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you

    installed are removed.

    I hope this information helps.

Please do let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you
