After having four beeps on my computer, I did the research and replaced the power supply and added, and reset the ram. The computer fails to boot. I would like to know if it is feasible to upgrade/change the motherboard to accept windows 11 and what equipment cpu etc would be needed to continue to use this Desktop.

Nope, none, simply turn off the computer, unplug it, open up the computer case, extract the RAM, then insert it back. maybe the memory became loose or something. if the problem continues I would try to extract all expansion cards if you have, except video card.
Try to do clear CMOS by removing the battery and wait a minute or so...

If the problem continues, I would suspect bad RAM stick, or motherboard...


EDIT: I read now you said it doesn't beep anymore, but I would try this anyway because bad RAM/contact can cause the motherboard won't beep *Smile

And the type of beeps. What you're hearing is a diagnostic code that's standardized. 3 long beeps, 3 short beeps, 1 short beep 4 long ones, etc all mean different things. If you give us the model of the motherboard we should be able to tell which of the beep code systems it uses.

Its most likely an IBM BIOS code.

Is this a laptop or desktop? No computer these days has a million wires. Suggest taking it to a reputable computer shop at this point to fix.
