    I got a brand new Samsung 980 PRO 2TB SSD and I can't find it in disk management


    The ssd is showing up as Microsoft storage space device and whenever I want to use it, it is asking me to create a storage pool, it is an ssd so I dont want it to do that. I delete the ssd and storage pool but it doesn't show up anywhere except for when I chose to create storage pool, how do I make it so it just uses normal storage on the SSD?

    Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SSD

    I have a brand new HP Windows 10 machine. I'm trying to install a 2TB Samsung 860 EVO SSD. Disk Management refused to see the brive but it is seen in the BIOS and Device Manager. Any ideas to get it recognized?

    Mismatched drive labels in windows.

    hi,

    I have two drives:

    Samsung 980 PRO 2TB - Where Windows 11 is installed

    Samsung 980 PRO 1TB - There is nothing on this drive, not even partition table.

    Everywhere in Windows 11 those disks are mislabeled.

    Ex. Task manager shows label 'NVMe Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB' but all metrics are shown from 2TB drive. And metrics from 1TB drive are labeled as 'NVMe Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB'.
