    I found a text file called "debug" on my desktop

    Hi Kyle,

    Kindly answer the following questions for us to better understand your concern:

    • When did you start noticing the debug text file on your desktop?
    • Any changes to your computer before you noticed the debug text file?
    • Do you experience difficulty using the computer after you noticed the debug text file?
    • Are you getting any error messages after you noticed the debug text file?
    • Where did you see the long information that you posted? Is it inside the debug text file?
    • Is the debug opening automatically when you boot up your computer?

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    Lots of software will create debug files, when something goes wrong . .. .

    All Debug files can just be deleted, those are not required by your system to function correctly, where exactly is this file on your PC and what is the exact name of that file

    Right click that file and choose - Open With - Choose another App - Notepad

    Is the text in that document human readable, and if so, does it give you any indication of what application created that log?
